We feel slobber straps slow your hands down. When the rein is picked up, there is a signal to the horse that a cue to the bit is coming. There is a great explanation of this by Ken McNabb that we found helpful to understand the job of the slobber strap better. You can also watch it in the link below!
They are sold as a set of two in either a plainer style (hand stamped border only), or with a concho (once purchased, I will let you know what conchos are available for you to choose them).
Sizing - Approx 85mm long, 37mm at the thickest part of the strap, and 20mm at the bit.
Available in either tan1st grade Herman Oak skirting leather (4-4.5mm thick), or 4mm thick dark brown Chahin bridle leather.
