The contoured spine gives a lived-in feel from before its first use and the felt is gorgeous. My felt isn't hard and compacted like cement - it is a quality product that feels like you want to use it from the first use. We know our horses take time to break in... but I don't think my pads do!
These pads are made to order in your choice of hides. Note that as it is natural hide please expect there to be slight differences between the one here, and the one you receive - the same tones will be there but no two natural hides are the same! Hides will be sent to you before I start making your pad. You can then select the hide, felt and leather colour.
If you would like engraving along the spine, please write this when ordering. Please select your chosen font from the pictures.
Materials + Care
I use the best materials I can find, from local suppliers where possible. For saddle pads, please only use cool water and mild wool wash and never use a washing machine. A soft rubber curry comb may be used to remove dirt and hair, however I recommened the nozzle of your vaccuum for general dust and hair. As cool as they are, all pads are consumables and they will need replacing once they've had their day. All gear, regardless of who makes it and where it's from, should be checked before each ride. Never ride in worn or broken gear. Nothing lasts forever.
