1-2 week turnaround from order to posting - new standing stock item
I have been asked a tonne of times if I could do a classic series blanket pad - solid colours, no engraving...
I asked each person who messaged me about it and it turned out there were a couple common reasons:
- "Give me a block colour so I can rock my patterned shirts" ... I hear you.
- "I'm doing a challenge and don't want the traditional 'western' patterned look but still want an MBH blanket pad" ... yep, got it.
- "My husband really wants a blanket pad but he refuses to use anything that isn't plain" ... yep, got one of those too!
- "My horse is blingy and I just want something neutral that doesn't take away from him"... I own a paint - I understand this too.
and the best one...
- "I buy all bay horses for a reason Harls. If I buy all plain coloured pads, my husband doesn't notice when I by a new one" ... lol - right on sista!
17/18mm thick including the blanket, 29 inch spine (the blanket is channelled in between the side turnovers), crazyhorse leather wears and spine.
Note that crazyhorse leather is designed to mark up and patina over time to give a vintage look and feel. This is part of the appeal of this leather. It is chrome tanned with a veg re-tan and cannot be engraved. A circle patch can be added to the back on one or both sides with any engraving or brand/logo. Brands/logos must be supplied in a quality format (not a photo or drawing).
Materials + Care
I use the best materials I can find, from local suppliers where possible. For saddle pads, please only use cool water and mild wool wash and never use a washing machine. A soft rubber curry comb may be used to remove dirt and hair, however I recommened the nozzle of your vaccuum for general dust and hair. As cool as they are, all pads are consumables and they will need replacing once they've had their day. All gear, regardless of who makes it and where it's from, should be checked before each ride. Never ride in worn or broken gear. Nothing lasts forever.
Postage + Returns
Returns are only accepted for workmanship faults, not change of mind. Please choose carefully.
