9ft continuous flat sewn rein with quick change buckle setup.
These can be made in two widths (19mm - for smaller hands and kids, and 21mm). The depth is around 10mm.
Because these are made from 14mm double braided rope, they also have more weight and tend to keep my own hands a bit more 'grounded'.
The rope is UV resistant, colour fast, washable, non-abrasive on your hands (which is why I started using this style of rein in the first place!) and has an approx breaking strain of 3400kgs. Super strong and durable; won't rot or mildew, doesn't absorb water and is not affected by sweat (the rope is made for salt water!); doesn't stretch or shrink and stays flexible and pliable over their life.

Materials + Care
I use the best materials I can find, from local suppliers where possible. For saddle pads, please only use cool water and mild wool wash and never use a washing machine. A soft rubber curry comb may be used to remove dirt and hair, however I recommened the nozzle of your vaccuum for general dust and hair. As cool as they are, all pads are consumables and they will need replacing once they've had their day. All gear, regardless of who makes it and where it's from, should be checked before each ride. Never ride in worn or broken gear. Nothing lasts forever.
